Playa Negra Costa Rica is

The wave is a world famous right-hand point break (the location where the famous surf movie “Endless Summer II” was filmed)

Nearby beaches and communities: Playa Avellanas, Lagartillo, Los Pargos, Playa Negra, Playa Callejones, Playa Blanca, Junquillal,

Venado, Marbella, San Juanillo all the way to Nosara.

Playa Negra also known as Los Pargos, still has the best property prices in all of Guanacaste. We are located between Tamarindo and  Junquillal.

The road paving will be underway real soon, they are putting material down and prepping the road for the pavement process. Once the road is paved from 27th of April to Pariso, the drive from the Liberia Airport to Paraiso will be on pavement, except for the last few kilometers that remain to the Playa Negra / Los Pargo area. Once the road is completed the trip fromt he Liberia Airport should only be one and half hours.

Also, under construction, at the moment, is the new J.W. Marriot, which will offer 310 rooms that cater to the high end travelers. The 5-star J.W. Marriot is located in Hacienda Pinillia which is only a few short kilometers from Playa Negra.
